VENUS IN DOHA

Venus Williams Venus will be in Doha tomorrow for a kids clinic, Q&A session and gala for Aspire4Sport 2011, the leading sport business conference.

The Aspire4Sport 2011 is the leading sport business conference which will begin November 10th.

Commenting on her attendance at Aspire4Sport, Venus Williams said: “I’m very much looking forward to returning to Doha and participating in the 2011 Aspire4Sport International Sports Congress & Exhibition this November.”

Other top name speakers who will gather at Aspire4Sport include: Nadia Comaneci, Olympic gymnastics legend,  Michael Laudrup, one of Denmark’s greatest football players; Fabio Cannavaro, Italy’s 2006 World Cup winning captain; Marcelo Lippi, former Head Coach of Italy; Bora Milutinovic, the only football manager to coach five different teams at five FIFA World Cups; Luis Aragones, former player and manager of Atletico Madrid and coach of the victorious Spanish team in the 2008 UEFA European Championships; and, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar Olympic Committee General Secretary.

This is the 2nd staging of ASPIRESPORT the International Sports Congress & Exhibition.  It will take place in and around the stunning Aspire Dome in Doha’s Sports City on November 12-15.

It is the only event of its kind in the Middle East, fully dedicated to sports and the sports industry, and has firmly established itself as the premium regional platform to market expertise and solutions related to the sector.
