Fashion guru Prasad Bidapa, known as the fashion guru in the Indian fashion industry, choreographed the show, said: “We really wanted her to take part and Venus insisted on walking the ramp to a Bollywood number. We chose the track Lovely, originally performed by actress Deepika Padukone. She even danced a few steps to the beats of the song.”

Venus with her tantalizing dance moves mesmerized the audience.

Venus wore a Ritu Kumar bright yellow sari with gold embroidered border and a red blouse. She teamed it with golden bracelet and earrings.VID: Venus Williams Does Bollywood In Fashion ShowThe tennis player earned praise not just from tennis fans but from the country’s fashion gurus as well. Venus has her own clothing line ELEVENLOGO.

One of those in the audience, Ranjiv Kumer, 31, said: “I could see she was having a good time, I thought she really flowed with the music. It was great to see her entering into the spirit of things and not simply doing the usual model catwalk stuff.”
